10月10日，湖北文理学院新校区正式启用。
新校区紧扣“天然生态、自然格局、山水相依、文脉相承”的理念，构建起“一心两轴三片区”的总体布局——以图书馆为中心，分别布设东西礼仪轴线和南北教学功能轴线，将校园北面设为开放共享区，中间设为教学核心区，南面设为绿色生态区。
